Shawn Raymond -your outfitter &  is the sole owner and manager of coal river outfitters, a BC resident  for over 20 years  Shawn  has several  years of experiences in the business making guiding for big game in the northern areas  a full time career since 1992,  Shawn a grew up in the Yukon where he spent his early  years learning to hunt , hunting beside his father in the vast mountains of the Yukon and northern BC , taking his first stone sheep at the age of 16 on a cold October hunt and his 1^st Alaska Yukon moose  on his own at the age of 15 , Shawn has worked for several outfitters in the north leaning the ways of a good outfitter,  Shawn has worked as a full time guide in Alberta, British Colombia, Yukon, and NWT Shawn purchased coal rivers area  in 2001 and has 17 years  hands on in the business,

  Shawn is the is the 4^th outfitter since the 60s to have held the certificate for coal river, the area was purchased from long time outfitter Blaine Southwick (held the certificate for 15years )who still resides in the area & guides a few hunts each fall  .
